Perinatal Anesthesiology Fellowship Training Program

About

The delivery of a total quality care for the high-risk pregnant mothers and their neonates by a team of motivated and knowledgeable personnel and maintenance of highest standards in the practice of Perinatology by fostering as a referral center for high-risk pregnant mothers and a training ground in the subspecialty of Perinatal Anesthesiology has been the goals of the Perinatal Center.

Training

Perinatal Anesthesiology is a two-year fellowship training program and was established in 2007. The main objective of the program is to prepare a fellow for a career in Perinatal Anesthesiology and be a prospective trainor in the field of Obstetrical Anesthesiology through clinical and research experiences, and with such exposure stimulate his/her interest and develop his/her expertise in the anesthetic care of high-risk pregnancies.

Eligibility

A fellow must have completed a three-year Anesthesiology Residency in a duly accredited institution and must have passed at least the first part of Diplomate Exam (written exam) given by the Philippine Board of Anesthesiology.
