Dr. Rachelle C. Dela Cruz receives recognition from PBBM
The Philippine Children’s Medical Center (PCMC) congratulates Dr. Rachelle C. Dela Cruz for being one of the Presidential Lingkod Bayan Awardees of the 2024 Outstanding Government Workers held at the Ceremonial Hall in Malacañan Palace on September 18, 2024.
Dr. Dela Cruz is the driving force behind establishing the PCMC Pediatric Hemodialysis Unit, the country's first and only hemodialysis unit for pediatric patients.
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. leads the conferment of awards to the winners together with Civil Service Commission (CSC) Chairperson Karlo Nograles and CSC Commissioners Aileen Lourdes Lizada and Ryan Alvin Acosta.

Philippine Children’s Medical Center
The Philippine Children’s Medical Center is one of the government-owned and controlled corporate National Centers for Specialized Health Care under the Department of Health. It is a 200-bed capacity tertiary hospital with a mandate to provide pediatric care, offer training programs for medical and allied health care providers, and be a center in clinical research.
