Dietary & Nutrition

Patient Meals are carefully planned by the Dietician Therapeutic and specified diets are provided to patients in accordance with the prescription of the attending physician.

Nutrition Education and Diet counseling are given to all hospital In-patients during the Dietician ward rounds and instructions at the Nutrition Clinic are given from 8:00am to 12:00nn daily, Monday –Friday.

Guest trays may be requested from the Dietary Division thru the Nurse Station before meal time, and will be charged accordingly.

Meal trays are distributed at:

Breakfast 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM

Lunch 11:30 AM – 12:00 NN

Dinner 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM

The Philippine Children’s Medical Center is one of the government-owned and controlled corporate National Centers for Specialized Health Care under the Department of Health. It is a 200-bed capacity tertiary hospital with a mandate to provide pediatric care, offer training programs for medical and allied health care providers, and be a center in clinical research.
