Last February 15, 2017, the PCMC Performance Governance System – Institute for Solidarity in Asia (PGS-ISA) Accreditation Task Force was created, with Dr. Julius A. Lecciones, PCMC Executive Director as the Overall Chairman and Dr. Cecilia O. Gan as the Chairman.
In March 2017, PCMC participated in the Governance in Healthcare Summit, organized by the Philippine Heart Center, to start-up its initiation pathway to good governance. The PCMC Five-Year Strategy Road Map up to 2022 was the major output towards its transformation in the delivery of pediatric and perinatal healthcare services.
In May 2017, the Task Force was further expanded to create the PCMC DREAM TEAM CHAMPIONS, comprising of four (4) committees focusing on areas of Research, Service Delivery , Training, and Advocacy. Subcommittees were further formed to address key areas with specific concerns, and to function as support in the achievement of breakthrough results. A series of meetings ensued with revisions and refinements of the PGS objectives, initiatives and measures.
