The new 8-storey building of PCMC will boast to have one of the child friendly facility in the country. Built to serve the vulnerable and marginalized children, it will provide an additional 360 hospital beds for the country. It will provide a floor area of 3,000sq.m Out Patient complex and a modern Emergency Room designed to treat emerging disease, isolating patients with negative pressure system. Each room shall have Hepa-filter machines.

The 2nd floor will boast one of the largest Intensive care units (ICU) for pediatrics – 60 bed capacity. With the capability to treat patients on hemodialysis as well as patients with new and emerging diseases.

The 3rd – 7th floor will have a patient rooms (60 beds per floor) designed to accommodate children with a therapeutic environment that will contribute to their developmental milestones while undergoing treatment.

The 8th floor shall have a modern Auditorium with a 360 seating capacity equipped with the latest audio-visual system.
